Apprenticeships with LI Europe

LI Europe believes in helping Improvement Apprentices reach their full potential through high quality teaching, training and assessment. We have over 20 years delivering improvement training and have bespoke frameworks and toolkits for Apprentices to utilise.

LI Europe offers levy-funded apprenticeships to manufacturers and factories across the UK. Using our collective experience and over 20 years in manufacturing, we specialise in providing the best support for our clients and apprentices. We empower our apprentices with the right Attitudes, Behaviours and Capabilities to make effective change in a factory and empower them with the best manufacturing excellence toolkit on the market.

LI Europe believes in helping Improvement Apprentices reach their full potential through high quality teaching, training and assessment. That’s why we have Development Coaches, Tutors, and Senior Consultants, all supported by a Master Trainer who oversees consistency and quality across Apprenticeships and a Designated Safeguarding Lead. LI Europe strives to provide the highest quality standards in design, delivery and management of the Apprenticeship Programme. More details can be found in our Quality and High Standards in Apprenticeship Training Policy.

Our Approach

No One Factory is the Same.

What works in one factory could be completely difference in another.

Tradition training approaches falter because they don’t align the goals of the whole company. They will look at the training needs of an individual, or even a small group of employees, often ignoring the cultural and behavioural development of the company. This results in staff development being disintegrated and ineffective.

At LI Europe, we believe that companies should move as one and be aligned in their mission. Support, mutual understanding, and development underpin our philosophy. Ensuring a common knowledge, capabilities and attitudes is the key to delivering results.

It must be said that the concept of change management which LI were asked to bring in was a very big ‘ask’. Their work on the floor was very beneficial to change management. LI try to problem solve by using the workforce. This has to be done tactfully. They achieved it. They had the respect of the people on the floor and the management which is a major credit.

Peter Barnett, CFO, KR Castlemaine

Over the past three months I have been concentrating mainly on changeover reduction, waste reduction and increased throughput. There has also been a challenge to behavioural patterns. All of these efforts have been using the knowledge that you gave me and I am delighted to say that all have been successful, culminating in increased throughput, less waste and an increase in OEE from an average of 78% to around 90%. There has also been a marked improvement with people issues.
