2014 Manufacturing Improvement Trends

In a recent IDC webinar that presented it’s Top 10 Predictions for 2014, Robert Parker, Group Vice President and General Manager, IDC Manufacturing Insights explained:
“The manufacturing industry has an established track record of continuously improving productivity… This is being driven by an ‘intelligent economy’ where customers are more informed, talent is at a premium, and the time to react to changes is compressed.”

Its why we offer our Rapid Lean and Aspire services to help factories identify opportunities to intelligently improve productivity, and deliver programmes that nurture skills to sustain progress.

Its also why we’re delighted to announce that LI Europe is sponsoring the ‘Star Performer’ category at the 2014 Food Manufacturing Excellence Awards. The Awards provide a great way for manufacturers aspiring to world-class standards to benchmark their performance.

If you’re interested in entering any of the categories, you can find all the details here or get in touch to understand what it takes to be a ‘Star Performer’.
